Matt Brash, Seattle Mariners

This month’s player spotlight is on Kingston, Ontario native, Matt Brash. After a successful high school career at Bayridge Secondary School, Matt started the 2017 baseball season at Niagara University. Following a successful three NCAA seasons, Matt was selected in the fourth round by the San Diego Padres in the 2019 Major League Baseball draft. Matt made his professional debut in 2019, and a short time later was traded to the Seattle Mariners. On 12-Apr-22, Matt appeared in his first MLB game this season and recently picked up his third career win against the New York Yankees.
