Scott Laughton, Philadelphia Flyers

This month’s player spotlight is on Philadelphia Flyers’ forward, Scott Laughton. The 2023/24 hockey season has marked Scott’s tenth NHL campaign, quietly putting together one of his most productive seasons yet. Scott’s dedication and leadership shown during his time with the Oshawa Generals was a paramount factor when he was selected in the first round (20th overall) by the Flyers. Amazingly, twelve years later, Scott remains a pivotal member of the Flyers franchise. As some may know, Scott is a tireless advocate of hockey’s celebration of the LGBTQ community.
