Mark Giordano, Toronto Maple Leafs

This month’s player spotlight is on Toronto Maple Leafs’ defensemen, Mark Giordano. “Gio”, the undrafted veteran, signed in Calgary as a free agent in 2004. Over seventeen seasons later, Mark appeared in more than 1,000 NHL games and amassed over 540 regular season points.  The “young and fresh” Norris Trophy winner recently signed a two-year contract extension with the Stanley Cup contending Toronto Maple Leafs.
