Cole Perfetti, Winnipeg Jets

This month’s player spotlight is on Whitby, Ontario native, Cole Perfetti. In 2018, Cole was selected 5th overall by the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League. In his first season, Cole led the Spirit in scoring, registering 74 points in just 63 games. Cole followed up his fantastic rookie campaign adding another 111 points to his OHL total, garnering attention from scouts around the NHL. In the fall of 2020, Cole was selected 10th overall by the Winnipeg Jets, signing his first NHL contract shortly after. In 2022-23, Cole’s production was generating Calder Trophy nominee attention before suffering a season ending injury.
