Nick Ritchie, Toronto Maple Leafs

This month’s player spotlight is on Toronto Maple Leafs’ forward, Nick Ritchie. Nick was drafted tenth overall by the Anaheim Ducks in 2014 and went on to make his NHL debut in 2016. After nearly five successful seasons in Anaheim, Nick was traded to the Boston Bruins in 2019. This summer, Nick was afforded the opportunity to enter free agency as an unrestricted free agent. After hearing the pitches of numerous suitors, Nick decided on a two-year contract in his hometown of Toronto.
