Andrew obtained the CFA designation in August 2012 and a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business in December 2010. While at McMaster, Andrew played varsity lacrosse, winning the national championship in his final year. Prior to McMaster, Andrew worked as an Associate Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, responsible for working with clients to properly structure their investment portfolios to meet their life goals.
More recently, Andrew was part of the Global Capital Markets group at Scotiabank, responsible for global money centre bank and hedge fund analysis. Andrew acted as a liaison between Scotiabank’s global trading desks and risk management, helping to manage deal flow within each Bank’s credit limits.
Prior to entering finance, Andrew attended Western University earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry while playing for the Varsity lacrosse team. Andrew played junior lacrosse in Oakville and Burlington and continues to be active in hockey, soccer, volleyball and lacrosse, while acting as a youth mentor and tutor with Stepstones for Youth. Andrew calls Burlington home, where he lives with his wife and his son, Clarke.
